This is a full-time, fully remote Integration Software Engineering Manager role at Stellar Cyber, open to candidates across the United States. Stellar Cyber is a fast-growing global cybersecurity company whose Open XDR platform is trusted by leading enterprises, government agencies, and managed security service providers, with more than 30% of the world’s top MSSPs relying on the platform. This role leads the design and implementation of scalable integration services for Stellar Cyber’s AI-driven SIEM, NDR, Open XDR, and Multi-Layer AI platform.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and building of scalable, secure, high-performance API integrations for security products and platforms.
• Architect distributed systems supporting large-scale task orchestration and real-time data processing.
• Extend the integration capabilities of Stellar Cyber’s SecOps platform through reusable microservice components.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, ensure system reliability, and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Champion best practices in backend architecture, API design, and secure coding.
• Drive automation, testing, and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and help define technical direction and engineering standards for the integration team.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of backend software development experience, including 2+ years in a tech lead, staff engineering, or management capacity.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Go, or Java, with a strong foundation in building microservices.
• Hands-on experience with API integration tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI) and secure API design (OAuth, API keys, rate limiting).
• Strong background in distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or orchestration frameworks (Celery, Airflow).
• Excellent system design, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in cybersecurity domains including SOAR, EDR, SIEM, or XDR.
• Exposure to large-scale data processing, real-time pipelines, or event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
