Diversified Services Network (DSN) is hiring a full-time Senior/Lead SDET to join a Fortune 500 client team in Chicago, IL on a hybrid schedule (onsite from day one). You’ll extend automation frameworks, mentor other test engineers, and coordinate with product owners on a well-established, reputable engineering team.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop test automation code for Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) of systems, infrastructure, and the test framework.
  • Plan, design, develop, and maintain an API test automation framework supporting automation scripting, execution, and results analysis.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for test engineers across multiple applications and projects, onshore and offshore.
  • Train and mentor project team members to create, execute, analyze, and maintain automated regression suites.
  • Coordinate with the product owner to resolve open issues, enhancements, and upgrades, and understand how specific functionality should behave.
  • Test full-stack applications and perform integration testing with third-party systems.
  • Run end-to-end system integration testing across software platforms.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong experience extending and maintaining test automation frameworks in Java and JavaScript.
  • Experience with API and performance testing tools such as Karate and JMeter.
  • At least 2 years working on an Agile team with a solid understanding of Agile/Lean practices.
  • Experience testing full-stack applications and integrating with third-party systems.
  • Strong mentoring and technical leadership skills for onshore/offshore teams.
  • Ability to work onsite hybrid in Chicago, IL from day one.
