About Freedom Finance Technologies

Freedom Finance Technologies is the technology arm of Freedom Finance, a Cyprus-based financial holding group that operates Freedom24, an investment platform giving retail clients access to stock trading, IPOs, bonds, and other financial instruments across international markets. The technology team builds and maintains the trading, banking, and brokerage software that powers Freedom24’s client-facing products, alongside the broader IT infrastructure that the holding company relies on internally. Working at the intersection of fintech and capital markets, the team supports systems that need to be both reliable and compliant, given the regulated nature of trading and banking services.

What You’ll Do

In this QA Engineer role, you’ll focus on manual testing of the platform’s trading and banking features, making sure new releases don’t break existing functionality and that new features behave correctly under real-world conditions before they reach clients. That includes writing and executing test cases, exploring the application to catch edge cases that scripted tests might miss, logging and tracking defects through to resolution, and working closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and confirm fixes. Because the platform handles real financial transactions and client funds, testing needs to be thorough and detail-oriented, with particular attention paid to how different account types, order flows, and market data interact across the system. You’ll also help maintain and refine test documentation so that coverage stays consistent as the product evolves.

What You’ll Need

  • Solid hands-on experience with manual QA testing, including writing test cases and exploratory testing
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while staying closely coordinated with developers and product managers
  • Strong attention to detail, especially important given the financial/trading context of the product
  • Clear communication skills for documenting bugs and collaborating across teams
  • Comfort working in a regulated fintech environment where accuracy and reliability are critical
  • Interest in or familiarity with trading platforms, banking systems, or brokerage products is a plus
