About the Role

YO AI Labs is hiring a QA Test Engineer to support technical evaluation and AI training projects. Rather than testing a single traditional product, you’ll be applying solid QA expertise to evaluate technical outputs, catch issues, and help keep quality standards consistent across the work being produced. It’s a contractor engagement, fully remote, and built around flexible, independent work.

What You’ll Do

Day to day, you’ll design and run functional, regression, and edge-case test cases, then carry out both manual and automated testing and document your results clearly so others can follow what was tested and what wasn’t. When something doesn’t work as expected, you’ll identify, report, and track the bug with clear reproduction steps so it can actually be fixed rather than just logged.

Because this role touches AI training work specifically, you’ll also be evaluating technical outputs against defined quality criteria and giving detailed feedback and annotations on what you find. You’ll work closely with the rest of the project team to help improve testing standards over time, rather than just executing a fixed test plan.

What You’ll Need

YO AI Labs is looking for someone with professional experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer, or in a similar role, with a strong grasp of QA methodologies and testing practices more broadly. Experience with bug-tracking and test-management tools is expected, along with strong analytical skills and genuine attention to detail.

Because the work is fully remote and often self-directed, excellent written and verbal communication is important, and you should be self-motivated and comfortable working independently without someone checking in on you constantly.
