Zyte is hiring a Quality Engineer to join its unified Quality Engineering function in an automation-first, AI-native role embedded directly within its engineering squads. You’ll own risk-based test strategy and convert it into automated coverage using AI-assisted workflows, helping the team ship faster without sacrificing quality.

What You’ll Do

• Design risk-based test strategies and convert them into automated coverage using AI-assisted development workflows.
• Build and maintain automated test suites integrated directly into CI/CD pipelines, supporting quality throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to catch risks early and push quality upstream in the development process, rather than treating QA as a final gate.

What You’ll Need

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and comfort with modern programming languages.
• Proficiency with modern test automation frameworks, Playwright preferred.
• Real, hands-on experience using AI coding agents for code generation, review, and maintenance.
• Familiarity integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, ideally using platforms like GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of quality engineering principles, test strategy design, and defect prevention.
