Dayshape is hiring a Quality Engineering Manager to lead quality practices across its engineering organization, based in Edinburgh on a hybrid schedule. You’ll combine hands-on technical leadership with people management, working closely with a team of software engineers to embed testing throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of quality-focused engineers, helping shape their growth and technical direction.
• Define and drive quality engineering practices and standards across the wider engineering organization.
• Work closely with engineering teams to embed testing practices throughout the SDLC, not just at the end.
• Balance hands-on technical contribution with team leadership and process improvement.

What You’ll Need

• Experience in a quality engineering leadership or management role.
• Strong technical background in software testing and quality practices.
• Experience mentoring and growing a team of engineers.
• Ability to work hybrid out of Dayshape’s Edinburgh office (2-3 days per week onsite).
