IntellectFaces is hiring a remote, contract Automation Tester with 6-10 years of experience to build and run automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress, while working with Jira and Jenkins to track defects and CI processes.

What You’ll Do

• Create and implement automated test scripts with Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.
• Analyze requirements and write detailed, automation-ready test cases.
• Execute tests and analyze results, running manual or regression testing when needed.
• Report bugs with clear reproduction steps for the development team.
• Work closely with developers and QA to keep integration and testing quality high.
• Stay current on new automation tools and techniques, and help improve testing processes over time.
• Maintain documentation for test cases, plans, and results.
• Run performance testing against defined benchmarks.
• Support UAT to validate end-to-end workflows.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience as a Software Automation Tester or similar role.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python, plus SQL knowledge.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Comfort with Git.
