This role sits at the center of that architecture: a mission-critical QA position responsible for making sure data syncs securely and correctly between cloud microservices and Salesforce metadata.

What You’ll Do

You’ll design and build an automated testing framework that covers both the AWS-hosted web application and the Salesforce workflows it connects to, and you’ll automate end-to-end user journeys that cross both platforms, such as a cloud UI action that triggers a Salesforce deployment or a metadata backup. A meaningful part of the role is creating stable Salesforce Lightning UI tests that can handle dynamic IDs and Shadow DOM components, using tools like UTAM, Playwright, or other enterprise-grade testing systems.

Beyond UI testing, you’ll build out API automation suites to validate real-time integrations, webhooks, and secure queues between AWS and Salesforce, and you’ll integrate all of these test suites into Git-based CI/CD pipelines so they run continuously rather than on an ad hoc basis.

What You’ll Need

Flosum is looking for 4+ years of QA automation experience, specifically with complex enterprise integrations rather than simpler single-system testing, backed by deep Salesforce expertise covering Lightning architecture, metadata, security models, and developer workflows. You should be proficient in code-first testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, or in Salesforce-specific testing systems like Provar, ACCELQ, or UTAM.

Strong REST API testing skills are expected, along with solid SOQL skills so you can verify data directly against the Salesforce database rather than relying only on the UI. You should also have real experience setting up automated tests inside CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar cloud developer tooling.
