OrganOx is hiring a Software Engineer for its Quality & Process team, based in Oxford, UK, to help maintain and improve the software quality practices behind its medical device technology used to preserve donor organs for transplant.

About OrganOx

OrganOx develops normothermic machine perfusion technology that keeps donor organs functioning outside the body, helping transplant teams assess organ viability and expand the pool of organs available for transplantation, ultimately helping save and improve patients’ lives.

What You’ll Do

• Support and improve software quality processes across the engineering organization.
• Work with engineering teams to embed quality practices into the software development lifecycle for a regulated medical device product.
• Help maintain compliance with relevant medical device software standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to test planning, execution, and defect management for software releases.

What You’ll Need

• Software engineering or quality engineering experience, ideally within a regulated industry such as medical devices.
• Understanding of software quality processes and standards relevant to safety-critical or regulated software.
• Ability to work onsite in Oxford, UK.
• Strong attention to detail and process-oriented thinking.
