About the Role

Ik Consulting is hiring a Test Engineer to help ensure software quality and reliability across its projects. This is a fully remote position, and candidates need to be authorized to work in the U.S.

What You’ll Do

• Design and execute test plans and automation scripts
• Run functional, regression, performance, and security testing
• Document defects clearly and track them through to resolution
• Collaborate across teams to clarify requirements and confirm fixes
• Perform root cause analysis on issues that come up
• Participate actively in Agile processes
• Help enhance and maintain testing frameworks over time

What You’ll Need

• U.S. citizenship or work authorization
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 1 year of software testing or QA experience
• Proficiency with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology
• API testing experience with Postman or RestAssured
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Python, JavaScript, or Bash scripting
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications
