Nityo Infotech is hiring a Manual Functional Tester for a 12-month contract in Boston, MA, working mostly onsite (4 days a week) on Capital Markets domain testing. Prior experience with State Street is preferred, and this role leans heavily on manual functional testing within financial services and banking systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans for Capital Markets applications.
• Run functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
• Use Jira for sprint tracking, test management, and defect documentation.
• Validate backend data using SQL for test data analysis.
• Test Java-based enterprise applications, including mainframe testing for banking and financial systems.
• Identify, track, triage, and retest defects.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners throughout the process.

What You’ll Need

• 6+ years of Functional/SQA testing experience.
• Strong Capital Markets / Asset Management domain experience; previous State Street experience preferred.
• Strong manual functional testing background, including mainframe testing in banking/financial applications.
• Experience testing Java-based enterprise applications.
• Strong SQL skills for backend and data validation.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with hands-on Jira experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AI tools is a plus.
