Pavago is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, product-focused technology client that’s strengthening its automation infrastructure using AI-driven quality assurance. This is a hands-on, automation-first engineering role — not a manual QA position — built for someone who wants to take real ownership of test systems, framework stability, and regression coverage.

For this role specifically, Pavago is recruiting on behalf of a client building a smart, resilient testing environment so their own team can focus on product innovation and growth.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Expand automated test coverage across the product’s most critical workflows, user journeys, and regression scenarios.
• Develop reusable test utilities, fixtures, and automation components that make the test suite easier to maintain and extend.
• Work directly with frontend and backend engineers to keep test coverage aligned with how the product actually evolves.
• Help maintain framework stability so the whole team can trust the automated test results.

What You’ll Need

• Hands-on, senior-level experience with test automation, specifically using Playwright and TypeScript.
• A track record of owning automation infrastructure rather than just writing individual test scripts.
• Comfort working directly with engineering teams in a fast-moving, product-focused environment.
• Ability to work U.S. business hours from a remote location.

Hiring Process
