Flosum builds native DevOps, release management, and data backup tools for the Salesforce ecosystem, while running key web applications and high-throughput background processing on a hyperscale AWS cloud architecture. This role is genuinely mission-critical: you’ll design, build, and maintain the end-to-end automated testing framework that bridges those two worlds, making sure enterprise DevOps data syncs securely and seamlessly between cloud microservices and Salesforce metadata.

About Flosum

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Ramon, CA, Flosum is a Salesforce-native platform covering DevOps and SecOps — version control, continuous deployment, automated merge tools, and cybersecurity, all built to run natively inside Salesforce. The company positions itself as approved for government, pharma, healthcare, and finance use cases, and is trusted by Salesforce architects, admins, and enterprise release managers.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build an automated testing framework spanning both Flosum’s AWS-hosted web app and its connected native Salesforce workflows.
  • Automate end-to-end user journeys that cross both platforms — for example, an action started in the cloud web UI that triggers a deployment or metadata backup inside Salesforce.
  • Build stable UI tests for Salesforce Lightning that hold up against dynamic ID changes and properly handle Shadow DOM components, using tools like UTAM, Playwright, or other enterprise testing tools.
  • Build solid API automation suites that validate real-time data integrations, webhooks, and secure message queues running between AWS and Salesforce.
  • Get the automated test suites cleanly integrated into modern, Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years of QA automation engineering experience, specifically with complex enterprise integrations.
  • Deep working knowledge of Salesforce Lightning architecture, metadata, security models, and developer workflows.
  • Skill with code-first automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) or Salesforce-specific automated testing platforms (Provar, ACCELQ, UTAM).
  • Strong REST API testing skills and comfort writing SOQL queries to verify data directly in Salesforce.
  • Practical experience setting up automated test steps inside CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar cloud developer tools).
  • Experience validating webhooks, secure queues, and real-time integrations between cloud services and Salesforce.
