ICS Global Soft is hiring a Senior QA Tester for a 12+ month remote contract based in Washington, DC, requiring security clearance. You’ll lead the QA team in designing test procedures, overseeing documentation, and ensuring the overall quality process holds up to scrutiny.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
• Oversee the drafting of testing documents and implement testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and adjust test procedures as needed.
• Run analysis checks against product specifications.
• Review Quality Assurance reports, along with system specifications.
• Work with QA Engineers to build effective strategies and test plans.
• Execute manual or automated test cases and analyze the results.
• Evaluate product code against specifications.
• Log testing phases and defects clearly.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues.
• Keep testing practices compliant with industry standards.

What You’ll Need

• 7+ years of experience, ideally in technology or software development.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies and techniques.
• Experience creating test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Solid knowledge of QA processes and best practices.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks to expand coverage and efficiency.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for test case creation or execution is a plus.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills for solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and team collaboration.
• Sharp attention to detail and strong bug-reporting instincts.
