RIVA Solutions is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Tester to support testing and QA activities for Federal client digital products and web modernization projects. You’ll build test strategies and cases, run test execution, manage defects, support UAT, run regression testing, and work with cross-functional teams to raise quality and release readiness across Federal web properties.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, regression suites, release checklists, and test execution schedules for web enhancements, Drupal migrations, content updates, search features, data visualizations, and microsites.
• Run functional, integration, regression, browser, mobile, usability, content, and UAT support testing across Federal client web properties and environments.
• Validate requirements, user stories, designs, and acceptance criteria against what’s actually been implemented.
• Log, prioritize, track, and retest defects in Jira, and support bug triage meetings with developers, content staff, and accessibility specialists.
• Support Drupal/WCMS migration testing, including content parity, redirects, metadata, taxonomy, page templates, search behavior, and domain consolidation.
• Run basic accessibility checks and coordinate with the Senior Trusted Tester on detailed Section 508 testing and remediation validation.
• Use automated testing tools like Selenium to strengthen regression coverage and cut down manual testing effort.
• Track and report on testing progress, quality trends, open defects, release readiness, and risks to stakeholders.
• Contribute to QA process improvements, SOPs, templates, naming conventions, defect workflows, and quality metrics.

What You’ll Need

• Experience writing test plans, test cases, test scripts, regression suites, and release readiness criteria for web applications or CMS-based sites.
• Experience running functional, regression, cross-browser, mobile, content, usability, and UAT testing.
• Experience managing defects and test execution using Jira, HP ALM, Quality Center, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of Drupal or similar CMS workflows, HTML/CSS basics, browser developer tools, and web standards.
• Familiarity with Section 508/WCAG concepts, W3C/HTML5 standards, and accessible digital product testing.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, coordination, and issue-triage skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Selenium or other automated testing tools, BrowserStack, PowerMapper, Lighthouse, Axe, WAVE, or similar QA tools.
• Experience leading testing for Drupal 7/8/9/10 migrations or public-facing Federal websites and digital services.
• Experience with CMMI, ISO 9001, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira administration, or QA process improvement work.
• Experience supporting security accreditation, ATO documentation, POA&Ms, or risk and quality management processes.
