Crafting is my favorite way to turn simple materials into something breathtaking, and this time, I decided to create a DIY flower bouquet using paper and tissue masks for wrapping. The process was so satisfying that I had to share every step with you!
Materials Needed:
- Colored craft paper (for flowers)
- Scissors
- Glue stick or hot glue gun
- Floral wire or thin sticks (for stems)
- Green tape or paper (for leaves and covering stems)
- Multi-colored one-time tissue masks (for wrapping)
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Making the Paper Flowers
I started by cutting flower shapes out of colored craft paper. Depending on your desired look, you can make roses, tulips, or daisies. I went with roses because of their timeless elegance. Each flower needed layers, so I cut several petals of different sizes for each bloom.
2. Assembling the Flowers
Using glue, I attached the petals around a floral wire, starting with smaller ones at the center and working outward with larger petals. This layering gave the flowers a realistic look. Once the flowers were ready, I wrapped green paper around the stem to give it a polished appearance.
3. Adding Leaves
To make the bouquet look fuller and more natural, I added paper leaves to a few stems. These were simple shapes cut out of green craft paper and glued onto the floral wire.
4. Wrapping the Bouquet
The final step was wrapping the flowers in a multi-colored tissue mask. I used a tissue with soft pastel shades to give the bouquet a cheerful and vibrant appearance. Wrapping was simple: I gathered the flowers, placed the tissue underneath, folded it around the stems, and secured it with tape and a bow.

The Final Touch
When everything was done, the bouquet looked like something straight out of a florist’s shop! It was a perfect craft project for a gift, home decor, or simply as a fun weekend activity.
This DIY flower bouquet is easy to make, customizable, and affordable. Try it out and let your creativity blossom!
