A Palm-Sized Squishy Nano Tape Duck Toy

I love experimenting with DIY crafts, especially squishy toys! When I stumbled upon a video showcasing how to make a palm-sized squishy ball resembling the head of a yellow baby duck, I knew I had to try it. This project is not only fun but also an excellent way to create a cute stress-relief toy that kids will adore.

Here’s how I made my very own squishy nano tape duck ball.

Materials You’ll Need:

  • Nano tape (transparent and sticky for crafting)
  • Yellow-colored liquid or soft stuffing material
  • Black and orange markers
  • Scissors
  • A straw (for inflating the tape bubble)

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Create the Nano Tape Bubble
Start by cutting a long strip of nano tape. Fold it in half lengthwise, sticky sides together, but leave a small opening to insert a straw. Press the edges firmly to seal it into a bubble-like shape.
  2. Inflate the Bubble
Insert the straw into the opening, gently blow into it, and inflate the bubble to the desired size—about the size of your palm. Once inflated, carefully seal the opening with more nano tape.
  3. Add the Yellow Duck Color
Inject the yellow-colored liquid into the inflated bubble before sealing it completely. Alternatively, place a piece of yellow stuffing or paper inside the tape bubble before inflating. The yellow base will give it the iconic duck look.
  4. Design the Duck Face
Using the black marker, draw two small circular eyes in the middle of the ball. Add a small orange triangle underneath for the beak. You can even draw blush marks for an extra cute effect!
  5. Finishing Touches
Once your duck face is complete, press gently around the ball to ensure it remains sealed. The squishy texture should feel satisfying to hold and press.
